A heavy-duty sewing machine specialist, not a catalog
SEWPRO LLC is Sergey and a small team in Ephrata, Lancaster County. We sell the machines we would run ourselves, set them up for the job before they leave, and answer the phone afterward.
The business started in the late 1990s supplying the trades around Lancaster County that sew heavy things: harness and saddle shops, upholsterers, canvas shops, and the strap and sling makers that serve the trucking and farm equipment trade. Those customers do not buy on brochure. They buy a machine that sews their part, and they expect the person who sold it to fix it.
That is still the model. SEWPRO machines are our own line, built to our specification on the proven industrial platforms the trade already knows by class number, and sold directly. Because we are the ones who service them, we specify the components we trust and leave out the ones we have replaced too often on other brands. Because there is no distributor in the middle, a complete machine from us, with table and servo motor, costs what a bare head costs elsewhere.
What we sell
54 heavy-duty and extra heavy-duty machines in 9 groups: flatbed walking foot, cylinder arm (including the 441 class), post bed, long arm up to 30 inches, heavy zig-zag, double needle, programmable pattern sewers and bartackers, strap cutting machines, and the servo motors, reducers, feet, hooks and Schmetz needles that go with them. We also take trade-ins and occasionally have refurbished machines, which carry a three month warranty.
How we work
You describe or send what you make. We pick the head, build the setup, and sew your part on it. If it works, we quote the machine complete and deliver it, installed and with your operator trained, anywhere in Pennsylvania and the neighboring states; by freight, tested and crated, farther away. Every new machine carries a 1 year warranty on parts and workmanship, and Sergey takes calls and texts about the machines he has sold seven days a week.
Where we are
333 Railroad Ave, Ephrata, PA 17522, in a working shop rather than a showroom, so visits are by appointment: call ahead and the machine you want to see will be threaded and ready to sew your material. Monday to Friday, 7am to 5pm. Showroom visits by appointment.
