Specifications, features, photographs and availability of machines are given in good faith and can change between production runs; confirm the details that matter to your work when you order. Nothing on the site is an offer to sell at a particular price. A quote from us is.

Quotes and orders

Quotes are written and valid for the period stated on them. An order is accepted when we confirm it in writing and any agreed deposit is received. Prices are in US dollars and exclude sales tax, freight and installation unless the quote says otherwise. Lead times are estimates.

Delivery and installation

Where we deliver and install, the machine is tested in your shop and a sewn sample is produced before we leave. Where we ship by freight, the machine is tested and crated here and risk passes to you when the carrier takes it; inspect the crate on arrival and note any damage on the delivery receipt. Installation on site requires the power, air and space described in the quote.

Warranty

New equipment is warranted for one year, motors for one year and used or refurbished equipment for three months, against defects in material and workmanship, on the terms set out on the warranty page. That page is part of these terms. Wear items are excluded.

Returns

Industrial machines are configured for the buyer, so returns are accepted only by prior agreement and may carry a restocking charge and freight. A machine that does not perform as quoted on the material and product described at the time of sale will be corrected or replaced; that is what the pre-sale setup and sample are for.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, our liability for any claim arising from a sale is limited to the price paid for the equipment concerned, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss such as lost production. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Intellectual property

Text, photographs and videos on this site belong to SEWPRO LLC or are used with permission. Schmetz and other brand names belong to their owners.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. Disputes are subject to the courts of Lancaster County, Pennsylvania.
