A heavy-duty sewing machine that skips stitches, breaks thread or marks the material is costing you money every hour it runs. Most of the time the fix is mechanical and quick: hook timing drifted, a feed dog sits a hair too high, a tension spring is tired, a needle bar height is off after someone hit a buckle. We find it, fix it, and show you what went wrong so it does not happen again.
We repair industrial machines of every brand, not only the SEWPRO heads we sell. Juki, Consew, Adler, Pfaff, Singer, Seiko, Highlead, Cowboy, Cobra and the rest all share the same mechanical families, and we have the parts, the gauges and the twenty-five years of hands on them. Bring the head to our shop in Ephrata, or ask for a visit if the machine is too big to move or you cannot afford the downtime.
What we fix
Skipped stitches, thread breakage, bird nests under the plate, loose or tight stitches that will not balance, uneven feeding, needle deflection and broken needles, noisy or seized hooks, worn feed dogs and presser feet, timing after a crash, bent needle bars, bobbin winder faults, and oil system problems.
On the electrical side: clutch motor to servo motor conversions, servo controller faults, needle positioner setup, pedal and synchronizer problems, and pattern sewer controller, clamp and air system faults.
Scheduled maintenance
A production machine should be looked at once a year, more often if it runs two shifts or sews abrasive materials like webbing and sailcloth. A maintenance visit covers cleaning, lubrication, hook and feed inspection, timing check, tension and foot pressure reset, belt and motor check, and a sewn sample on your material. It takes about an hour per head and prevents the kind of failure that stops a line on a Friday afternoon.
Shop or on site
Heads come off the table with four screws and fit in a car. For single machines, bringing the head to Ephrata is fastest and cheapest. For pattern sewers, long arms and shops with several machines, we come to you. We cover Lancaster, Berks, Lebanon, York, Chester and Dauphin counties routinely, and farther by arrangement.
