Machine delivery, installation and operator training

Assembled and tested here, set up in your shop, operator trained before we leave.

A sewing machine is not a product you take out of a box. The head has to be mounted and leveled, the motor pulley matched to the speed the work needs, the belt tensioned, the needle positioner set, the oil filled, the hook timed, the thread path and tension set for your thread, and then it has to sew a straight seam on your material before anyone calls it installed. We do all of that in our shop first, then again in yours.

In Pennsylvania and the neighboring states we deliver and install ourselves. Sergey brings the machine, sets it in place, runs it on your material, adjusts anything the shop floor changes, and spends time with whoever will be running it. Farther away, the machine is crated after testing and shipped by freight, with a phone and video walk-through when it arrives.

Before it leaves Ephrata

Every machine is uncrated, assembled on its table, oiled and run in. We time the hook, set the needle bar height and feed, fit the feet and attachments you ordered, and sew on the material you sent or described. Servo motors are set to a maximum speed that suits the work, not the maximum the motor can do. For pattern sewers we load and test your patterns on your part.

In your shop

Installation covers placement, leveling, power, air where the machine needs it, a final tension and foot pressure check under your lighting and with your operator, and a sewn sample you keep. For a shop replacing an old machine we also move the old one out of the way if you want.

Training

An hour with the operator covers threading, bobbin winding, tension, stitch length, foot lift, the needle positioner, daily oiling and what to check when a stitch goes wrong. Pattern sewer training covers loading parts, selecting and editing patterns, and clearing a thread break. We leave a settings sheet with the machine and we are a phone call away afterward.

Frequently asked questions

How far do you deliver?

Routinely across Pennsylvania and into Maryland, Delaware, New Jersey and New York. Farther by arrangement. Beyond that we ship by freight, fully tested and crated.

What do I need ready in the shop?

A level floor space about 4 by 5 feet per machine, a standard 110V outlet (some pattern sewers use 220V, we will tell you), and compressed air for machines with air foot lift or pneumatic clamps. Good light helps.

Can you deliver to a shop without grid power?

Yes. We have installed machines on generator, inverter and alternative power systems many times in Lancaster County. Tell us what you have and we will match the motor.
