About the 1341
The 1341 is the standard medium-heavy cylinder arm. The bed is a 72mm tube instead of a table, so a bag body, a boot, a sleeve or a pillow slides over it and the seam runs around the piece instead of fighting it across a flat surface. The feed is unison, meaning needle, inner foot and feed dog move together, so layered leather and vinyl do not creep.
The hook is vertical-axis with a large bobbin, the stitch goes to 6mm, and the foot lifts 16mm by knee. It sews thread from 46 to 138, which covers most bag, shoe, wallet and upholstery work. The climbing device keeps the stitch even when the foot steps onto a thicker seam.
A drop-in table attachment turns it into a small flatbed in a minute for the occasional straight seam.
