About the 1342-7
The 1342-7 is the automated version of the cylinder arm walking foot. The 7 suffix means the thread trimmer, automatic back-tack and foot lift are built in, driven by a direct drive servo. The operator sews to the end of a bag gusset, taps the pedal, and the threads are cut under the plate with the needle up and the foot lifted for the next piece.
An adjustable throat plate lets the arm be set up for small diameter work like wallet linings and watch straps as well as bags and boots. The unison feed and the large vertical hook are the same as the 1341, and so is the thread range of 46 to 138.
We show it on video with the drop-in table attachment, and there is a double needle version, the 1342-2, for parallel seams on bag straps and handles.
Also available: SEWPRO 1342-2 double needle cylinder bed, direct drive.
