About the 204-104A

The 204-104A is the zig-zag version of the 204 heavy flatbed. The barrel shuttle holds heavy thread, the top and bottom feed move sailcloth, laminate and neoprene without creeping, the stitch goes to 10mm and the foot lifts 12mm. Straight stitch and zig-zag are both available, with reverse. It runs at 800 RPM, which is where a heavy zig-zag should run.

It is bought by sail lofts sewing heavier cloth than a 146RB likes, by shops that sew wetsuits and neoprene gear in volume, and by tent and awning makers who want zig-zag seams on heavy canvas.
