About the 1760
The 1760 puts two needles on a 7 inch post with triple unison feed. The center guide feet have a ridge that rides in the seam, so the two rows of topstitch sit exactly the same distance either side of it along the whole length of a seat bolster or a bag handle. Needle gauges of 8, 10 and 12mm are available; a split needle bar for turning corners is an option.
Each needle has its own large vertical-axis rotary hook, so bobbin changes are rare and both rows lock the same way. The stitch goes to 8mm, the pneumatic foot lift to 14mm, and the climbing device keeps the stitch length even when the feet step onto a thicker seam. The 750W Ho Hsing servo with needle positioning runs on 110V.
This is the machine automotive trim shops and furniture makers ask about most, and the one that separates a factory-looking seat from a home-made one.
