About the 18365-10
The 18365-10 raises the needle plate 10 inches above the table. A boot shaft, a tall tote, a deep tool bag or a luggage body hangs around the post with the seam on top, so the operator sews near the opening while the rest of the product stays out of the way. The feed is needle feed with alternating presser feet, so layered leather does not creep.
The hook is a rotating hook with a G size bobbin, the stitch goes to 6mm, the foot lifts 16mm, and the safety clutch protects the hook from a crash. It runs 46 to 138 thread through 135x17 needles at up to 1,200 RPM.
For products deeper than 10 inches, riding boots and large duffels, the 18365-17 has a 17 inch post.
