About the 1510DL-25-7

The 1510DL-25-7 is a 25 inch long arm with the three automatic functions and a direct drive 220V servo on the head. The unison feed and vertical-axis large hook handle leather, vinyl, canvas and upholstery fabric from light to heavy with 69 to 138 thread; the 16mm air foot lift and the under-bed trimmer keep a seat cover line moving.

The stitch length on this head is 7mm. It is a production machine: the shop that buys it sews the same kind of panel all day and wants the operator to touch nothing but the fabric and the pedal.

Questions about the 1510DL-25-7

1510DL-25-7 or 1510L-25-7?

Both are 25 inch automated long arms. The DL has the direct drive motor on the head (220V); the L has a separate Ho Hsing servo under the table. Performance is the same; the choice is usually the shop's power supply.

Why only 7mm stitch?

The automated 1510 heads are set for 7mm so the trimmer and back-tack work reliably. If you need 9mm, the manual 1508L-18 and the 1510L-18-7 give it.
