About the 8BL-20-2
The 8BL-20-2 sews two rows at once on a 20 inch arm, which is how tarp, tent and cover makers sew lap seams and double-stitched hems in one pass. The feed is compound (needle feed and drop feed with alternating presser feet), the hooks are vertical-axis with extra large bobbins, and the stitch goes to 10mm with a 20mm foot lift. The 794 needle system runs thread from 138 to 277.
Centralized arm lubrication, reverse, a safety clutch and a built-in bobbin winder make it a machine for long production runs. At 1,200 RPM it is faster than the single needle extra heavy heads.
