About the 733-30
The 733-30 is our heaviest flatbed, the 733, with 30 inches between the needle and the arm. The extra-large oscillating shuttle holds a bobbin of 346 or 415 thread long enough for a full sling or tarp seam, the needle bar takes Schmetz 1000H needles up to size 330, and the slow 550 RPM top speed drives a needle through a stack of webbing, canvas or leather that would stall a conventional machine.
The 30 inches is what separates it from the 733-PRO: a rolled truck tarp, a sail panel, a cargo net or a lifting sling with hardware on both ends goes under the arm without fighting. It is the machine for shops that sew the heaviest materials in the largest pieces. We show the 733 head on video.
